하드디스크의 악기로서의 가능성을 지속적으로 탐구해온 진상태의 두번째 정규 솔로 CD이자 개인 레이블인 ‘popmusic25’의 첫 발매작. 하드디스크를 작은 턴테이블처럼 작동하는 것이 가능하게 되면서 시도할 수 있게 된 아이디어들을 추려 만든 작품으로, 2010년 senufo edition 에서 카세트로 발매했던 하드디스크의 완성되지 않은 회전을 녹음한 ‘incomplete spin’과 연결되어 있다. 3대 (혹은 그 이상의) 의 하드 드라이브와 여러가지 물건들을 이용해 2014년 가을부터 2015년 봄까지 닻올림에서 녹음한 작업.
